1The basics
What this policy covers
This policy covers remotesalescareers.io, our application form at apply.remotesalescareers.io and our online store. It also covers the messages you send us by WhatsApp, Telegram, email or social networks.
Who is responsible
Remote Sales Careers (legal entity name and registered address) decides how your data is used for the purposes below. Our recruiting and staffing partners are responsible for the parts of the process they run, under their own privacy policies.
2What we collect
If you apply
Your contact details: name, email, phone and WhatsApp number, country and city. Your career details: LinkedIn profile, CV, work history, skills, sales experience, English and other language levels, availability and pay expectations. Your answers to screening questions, and any recordings or video intros you choose to send. During interviews we may add notes and assessment results.
If you hire
Your name, work email, phone, company and job title, and the role details you share, such as requirements, budget, team size and timing.
If you buy a service
Your name, email and order details. Payment details are collected by the store’s payment provider, not by us.
When you message us
The content of your messages and your contact details on that channel.
Collected automatically
Your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, your time on the site and the site that sent you. We collect these through server logs, cookies and similar tools (see section 6).
From others
Information from your public professional profiles, from people who refer you, and from hiring companies about how your interviews went.
3How we use and share it
How we use it
- To review applications, match candidates with roles, arrange interviews and support people after they are placed.
- To answer hiring requests and deliver the services you buy.
- To reply to your messages.
- To send openings, tips and updates you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the site secure and to stop fraud, including scams made in our name.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Our legal bases
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on 4. First, steps you ask us to take before a contract, such as applying, booking a call or buying. Second, our legitimate interest in running and improving a recruiting service, balanced against your rights. Third, your consent for marketing messages, optional cookies and publishing a video or testimonial. You can withdraw consent at any time. Fourth, our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Recruiting and staffing partners who run our application, screening, matching and placement process.
- Hiring companies, when you are considered for a role: the profile, CV and interview notes relevant to it.
- Service providers that host the site and forms, load its typeface, schedule calls, send email and messages, take payments and measure site use. Our contracts limit how they use the data.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm or fraud.
- A buyer or successor, if the business is reorganized, merged or sold, under the same protections.
We don’t sell your personal information.
4Retention and security
How long we keep it
Candidate profiles stay with us while you are looking for work and for as long as they help us match you with future roles. You can ask us to delete yours at any time. We keep company and order records while the relationship lasts and as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep messages as long as we need to answer and follow up.
How we protect it
We limit access to the people who need it, use encrypted connections and work with established providers. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you, and the authorities, where the law requires it.
5Your rights
What you can ask for
Data protection laws give you rights. Examples are Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012, Brazil’s LGPD, Mexico’s federal data protection law, the EU and UK GDPR and California’s privacy laws. Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you whether we hold your data, and give you a copy.
- Correct it, or delete it.
- Stop or limit some uses of it.
- Send it to you, or to another provider, in a usable format.
- Withdraw your consent, or stop marketing messages.
How to ask
Email [email protected], or message us on WhatsApp or Telegram, and tell us what you need. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we answer within the time the law sets for your country. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority. In Colombia, that is the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
7Children, changes and contact
Children
The site and our services are for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has applied, tell us and we will delete their data.

We will post updates here with a new date, and tell you directly about important changes where we have your contact details.
